About the Winemaker
After studying winemaking for 5 years at the University of Bourgogne, France, Isabelle honed her craft with a 12-year stint at Joseph Drouhin in Beaune Burgundy, France. In 1993, she started making wine in Oregon and commuted back and forth many times a year before becoming the winemaker for De Ponte Cellars in 2001. Highly acclaimed and recognized for her deft touch at creating beautiful, palate pleasing wines, Isabelle will also has made her own wine: 1789 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley
