Rhone Valley Wine Tasting Class & Light Supper: January 19
January 19, 2017 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 pm$75
9Tour the wines of the Rhone Valley January 19th at World Class Wines.
Taste the wines and learn how history, geography, geology, climate and weather make the Rhone Valley one of the truly great wine regions of France!
Carry the flavors of sun drenched vines to the grey cold skies of an Oregon winter. Ranging from the benchmark Syrahs of the Northern Crus to the rich and complex Southern blends of Chateauneuf, Gigondas and Vacqueras, these wines are perfect for winter’s rich braises, stews, and roasts.
This course includes a light supper paired with specially selected wines from the Rhone Valley: A winter salad of Belgian endive, Roquefort and walnuts; and an entrée of a beef ragout or a cassoulet. Perfect pairings for our selection of wines.
