Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles!! While Champagne is the king and queen of sparkling wines, there are many other delicious examples to try.
Join us to learn about the fascinating history of sparkling wines, the various methods of production, the best kind of glassware to use, and enjoy a tasting of delicious bubbles from across France, Italy and Spain that you can enjoy for Valentine’s Day and throughout the year.
We will enjoy small plates to pair with the wines. Menu to be decided.

About your Instructor, Maxine Borcherding
Chef Borcherding is a graduate of the International Sommelier Guild Sommelier Diploma Program, a French Wine Scholar instructor (Wine Scholar Guild), Spanish Wine Educator (Wine Academy of Spain), a Wine Location Specialist with distinction from the Center for Wine Origins, and is currently completing her certification as a Master Instructor for the Rhone region through the Wine Scholar Guild.
Chef Borcherding is a co-founder of Taste and Compare Academy of Wine, Spirits and Food; and is recently retired from the Oregon Culinary Institute where she was Lead Chef Instructor.
